Researchers in VPH modelling will exploit disruptive software for the automatic validation and individualisation of their models
Paeon provides Researchers in VPH Modelling with VPH Modelling Support Service (VPH‑MSS).
VPH-MSS is a suite of cloud-based software services allowing simulation of candidate VPH models with and without drug administration, computation of populations of virtual patients and model validation against large collections of retrospective clinical data.
VPH Modelling Support Service is a suite of simulation-based software services aimed at supporting researchers defining new Virtual Physiological Human models.
VPH-MSS enables researchers in VPH modelling to simulate their models with or without drug administrations.
VPH models typically contain several parameters. Different values to these parameters yield different model behaviours and capture the physiological differences among different patients.
VPH-MSS enables researchers to compute populations of virtual patients by intelligently searching for parameter values entailing model behaviours satisfying given biological properties (for example, characterising one or more classes of real patients).
Populations of virtual patients are the starting point to enable in silico clinical trials.
VPH-MSS enables researchers to validate their candidate VPH models against large amounts of retrospective clinical data, showing to which extent evolutions of the VPH model can match available patient observations.
Like all software services developed within Paeon, VPH-MSS is not restricted to reproductive endocrinology VPH models, as it is ready to be used with other Virtual Physiological Human Models and other drugs.
